Philmont Trek - 2016

Posted on Jun 22 2015 - 1:22pm
Philmont - 2016

We have the chance for another High Adventure @ Philmont during Summer, 2016!!  This is the pinnacle of the High Adventure experience for scouts and provides them with a lifetime of memories.  In 2016, we have been given the opportunity to send TWO crews to Philmont (24 people, probably 18 scouts and 6 adults).  The crews will be at Philmont on the same dates, which enables us to travel as one large group.  These are 12-day backpacking treks, which are designed for older, larger scouts.  As with most High Adventures, the youngest scouts should be entering high school in the fall of 2016.

Water Sports Merit Badge Class

Posted on Jun 20 2015 - 5:10pm

A Water Sports Merit Badge Class will be offered before the weekly troop meeting on July 14th.
